A: Doing MTB in Boulder, Colorado back in 2020 when I first visited out there, and descending through the beautiful and majestic Mesa Trails. It definitely took another level of skill, determination and courage coming from flat Miami. Being at altitude, Boulder sits at 5,000ft. of elevation, and riding the harder trails out there can be as challenging and rewarding!

A: My first Century ride (100 miles!!!) was this year with Dolphins Challenge Cancer. At this distance you really have to like spending time with yourself, even if you're riding in a group. It's definitely something to train for, physically, but more important, mentally and emotionally you really have to WANT it in order to make the distance. Knowing that I was doing that while also raising money for cancer research made it even more important to me. I can't wait to do it all over again.
