At Mack Cycle, we're on a mission to bring the joy of cycling to kids year-round, especially during the holidays. Our "Bikes for Kids Program" aims to provide top-quality, professionally assembled bikes, along with helmets and locks, to foster kids or a charity of your choice.
Our Local Foster Kids Need Our Help 💛
Many foster children enter the local care system with minimal belongings, including toys, clothing, and personal items. Foster care is a system in which a minor has been placed under the care of a state-certified caregiver, often referred to as a "foster parent," or with a family member approved by the state.
Typically, foster parents receive less than $600 per month to cover the expenses of the child, including their schooling and housing. With limited resources, there is very little left to provide children with bikes or toys that are essential for their growth and development.

Mack Cycle is committed to subsidizing the cost of top-quality bikes and providing them, fully assembled, along with helmets and locks, to the charity of your choice or to foster kids in need. By giving foster kids the gift of a bicycle, you will be opening doors to new experiences for them. They'll have the chance to make new friends, enjoy rides with their peers, and gain a means of transportation to and from school and the library.
Help us make a difference in the lives of local foster kids and underprivileged youth by allowing them to experience the simple joy of riding their first bicycle.
The Impact
Every Dollar Goes a Long Way...
Our goal is to raise $10,000 in donations by January 2024. With this funding, we'll be able to provide and subsidize:
- 50 bikes for teenagers
- 50 cruiser bikes for 8-10 year-olds
- 70 bikes for 5-6 year-olds
- 130 bikes for 1.5-3 year-olds
We offer four giving options to suit your contribution:
- Bronze Donor - $250: Provides a bike for one foster child.
- Silver Donor - $500: Provides bikes for two foster children.
- Gold Donor - $750: Provides bikes for three foster children.
- Platinum Donor - $1,000: Provides bikes for four foster children.
