Meaning Brick, in Italian, the Mattone is SILCA's award winning seat bag powered by the Boa Closure System.

With the new Silca Mattone Grande Bicycle Seat Pack, Silca has now created a 'bigger brick' with .74L of internal volume almost 2x the volume of the original Mattone (0.41L). The Silca Mattone Grande Bicycle Seat Pack is capable of holding up to 3 road tubes along with 2 CO2 cartridges, 2 tire levers and a multi-tool. It can also easily hold up to two 29x2.5 MTB tubes along with CO2, levers and Multi-tool, the Mattone Grande is ideal for those long adventure rides or races where you must be prepared for everything.

Similar to the original Mattone, a high friction Hypalon strap with BOA Closure completes the package. Making more than 15x the power of Velcro, the BOA Closure uses a ratcheting mechanism that will not creep or loosen even under the most extreme vibration and impact. This ensures the Mattone will remain high and tight‚ under your saddle until you need to access it... no swinging, swaying, or rattling... ever!
